British Airways has announced a new codeshare agreement with oneworld partner Malaysia Airlines. The code will be added to Malaysia‘s 14 locations, including Langkawi, Penang, and Kota Kinabalu, and nine towns in Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, New Zealand, and Vietnam. Neil Chernoff, director of networks and partnerships for British Airways said: “This codeshare with Malaysia Airlines further strengthens our customers ‘ destination proposal, offering them more advantages when flying to Asia and South-West Pacific. Malaysia Airlines shares our dedication to good customer service, and we are delighted that we can introduce more of our customers to their network.”
Customers will have a higher choice of routes, destinations and fares as part of the new contract, as well as more flexibility between the UK and Asia Pacific. British Airways provides daily flights from London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur, one of the biggest aviation hubs in the world and a main center for oneworld alliance members.
